 Studios

A modern school understands that learning extends beyond the typical school day. The Whittle Studios program takes place outside the boundaries of the school day, after regular classes during the week, on weekends, and during the summer. Studios provides rich opportunities for students to learn deeply and explore broadly. Offerings are thoughtfully designed to integrate with our full-time program, enabling students to go deeper into an existing area of interest, or to explore something new. Whittle Studios takes a creative, multidisciplinary approach to learning, providing a multitude of on-campus, city-wide, and global experiential learning opportunities. Courses are led by Whittle School & Studios faculty, along with global and local experts.

Whittle Studios programming has three offerings: StudioCare, StudioEnrichment, and StudioSummer.

Whittle is happy to announce that we will be hosting Leaps and Bounds Camp on our campus for the Summer 2022 season and PhotoMath Stem as another summer option. Please click on the buttons below for more information on the camps and registration.

StudioCare

Our extended day program, known as StudioCare, serves students from our ELC, LS, and MS divisions. StudioCare is intentionally designed for students to play and interact with friends of different ages, and to choose activities based on their interests. A snack is provided, and homework support is available.

 Hours of Operation:

  • Monday – Friday, from the end of the school day until 5:30 p.m.

  • Late stay options until 6:00 p.m. are available for an additional fee

For more information on registration fees and StudioCare policies, please click here.

studioEnrichment

Studios courses take place throughout the school day and beyond into after school, evenings, and on weekends. Courses are designed to help students dive deeper into an existing area of interest or explore something new. We offer a broad portfolio of Studios courses across four themes: Health and Wellness, STEM, Performance/Visual Arts, and World Languages. Courses are cross-disciplinary and embrace learning through doing in a fun environment. Whittle students will be able to participate in Studios courses ran by our partners and faculty during the day and continue their passions in our after-school classes.

Please find our Winter/Spring 2022 StudioEnrichment Catalogue here. StudioEnrichment classes are currently only open to Whittle School & Studios students. The registration link can be found in our family newsletter.
